Image via Wikipedia. Now please don't tell me you'd rather look at Anthony Bourdain's grizzled mug over this shot!

It’s kind of like marble ice-cream, or coffee with rich vanilla cream (what I used to be called in high school) swirling around in it; travel and informed perspectives from attractive, intelligent black women.

Sounds like some great television programming, but alas, that doesn’t appear that any network bigwigs have green-lit that concept yet (big surprise there).

I’d love to see a version of Anthony Bourdain‘s self-congratulatory sourpuss world-weary global nomad/master chef program from the perspective of someone like Tracee Ellis Ross, Niecy Nash, Tina Turner, Alice Walker; but what are you gonna do?

Turn to the internet, of course!

The brilliant folks at “Clutch,” have an interesting, inspiring, and fun little piece up about such women on their website that I felt obligated to provide a link to (and folks at “Clutch,” please feel welcome to add a mutual plug on your own site if you feel so driven as it sure couldn’t hurt our paltry, nascent viewership):
